Elevate Your Aerospace Application

AstraWrap™ is our custom prefabricated layup of multilayer insulation. It combines multiple layers of ultra-thin 0.25 mil (6 µm) polyester film separated by lightweight, low-conducting polyester netting.

The polyester film is coated with aluminum on both sides for high thermal performance. The netting is made of a lightweight scrim to minimize weight and layer-to-layer conductivity. This scrim wrap is primarily suited for lower temperature applications that do not exceed 250°F.

AstraWrap™ Configurations

Standard configurations come in a length of 10 feet and a width of 48 inches.  Custom widths of up to 54 inches are also available. Our standard layups come with 10, 15, and 20 reflector layers, but they can also be customized to fit your thermal performance requirements. AstraWrap™ Super100 consists of our AstraWrap™ layup in a length of 100 feet.
