Established in 1999, Aerospace Fabrication formed based on the concept of providing quality Multi-Layer Insulation Blankets to the Aerospace community. The principal members of AFM are experts trained in thin film material technology, having worked in vacuum deposition, laminations, and specialty fabrications prior to forming the company. The founders have nearly 100 years of work history in the field. Using this knowledge and experience they have forged a unique niche in the market providing customers with solutions to their insulation needs.
Our products do not end with MLI Blankets. Because our core capabilities revolve around sewing, taping, and sealing, we have also developed a variety of specialty soft goods that include inflatables, acoustic panels, and display pieces.
Over the past two decades, AFM teamed with clients on several big science, optical telescope, and International Space Station projects.
